Hi, I'm new to docx4j and I need help with a problem - probably a basic and simple thing, but I cannot get it even after a day of searching.
The problem is as follows:
I create a paragraph using the .createStyledParapgraphOfText() method of the MainDocumentPart class with a predefined style and text (different every time, depends on a String variable) as arguments. Then I need to append more text to the paragraph. The reason ...

you can use a mail server so that when a user gets an answer he also gets an email prompt.
I use several forums and may be many other from the forum do that too. so it is just easier to see where you got an answer.

Please, do not think that I am too wanting or something, I just think it is better for the users.

It is not a great problem. I have wrote a round about. Though it is still better to use the titles and not the descriptions to identify the charts.
and have some other text in the descriptions, namely a description ;).

But this with loading and saving through WordprocessingMLPackage, seems more interesting. I think there the files should be identical, but I have a ...

I have a docx file in which there is a numbered list. I just want to extract text corresponding to that number and make a hashmap of number and value.
I tried almost everything given on net which includes imitation of AbstractNumberinTest way given with Docx4j. But nothing seems to work.

Please help, Need it badly.

HI all,

I used docx4 to copy some docm templates. There are embedded excel charts in the templates. I use their names to identify them later and fill them with data.
But docxj4 do not actually transfer their names.

It transfers their descriptions however, and I could get around this problem.
But it is still better than one uses chart names to identify them and not chart decsriptions.

I am quite new to docx4j and I have a problem while loading a docm file.

It functions quite well, but when I close the rcp application where the code runs , I get the following message

Caused by: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: org/apache/xerces/jaxp/DocumentBuilderFactoryImpl

I debugged extensively to find where the problem is and found out that the DocumentBuilderFactoryImpl class loads successfully at the beginning.

Then I traced the problem to

WordprocessingMLPackage wordMLPackage = null;
try ...

I have a requirement where I need to create a docx and ppt file. There is a standard template but at times i may need to export multiple items.
For example , my standard template has a text and a graph. If I export Item A , there may be 5 graphs of the same kind and 5 texts. Can I handle this scenario in docx4j. I will know the number (5, in the example) ...

While trying to extract the contents from a (docx) document, i am facing a challenge in converting the symbols inserted through "Insert Symbol" feature. The document.xml file has the following contents for the symbol α (alpha).
