Manupilate Charts

Hi,

I want to edit a ppt that has charts and some table with numeric data ($ and number). The charts that I have to create are fixed/static. I need to just edit the data through a program dynamically.

I am never used dox4j and exploring if it suffice my requirements.

Appreciate if someone can share some sample program and a link to documentation for dox4j.

Even I need to manipulate charts. Can someone please point me to an example for the same? I'm assuming the data in the embedded excel sheet for the chart should be modified. Replacing the excel sheet completely is also a solution for me. Please help.

I hate to bring up a thread this old, but I'm currently trying to do the same thing.

I'm extremely new to docx4j, and OpenXML. I'm trying to take data from an Excel Spreadsheet and update it into an existing PowerPoint presentation that contains graphs, charts, and tables.

I've read through most of the documents, and I'm able to separate individual slides for manipulation, but I'm not sure how to access the specific data in the charts.

Any guidance anyone could provide would be extremely helpful.
