Modify existing .docx and output to PDF

I have an existing .docx file with some text placeholders that I need to dynamically substitute and then output as a PDF. Is it possible with docx4j? What are the main APIs of docx4j I need to call to achieve this?

Any problems after the conversion? I did exactly the same...docx file..as a template, fill in the contents, save again, convert it to pdf. But i have some conversion problems i do not know how to fix. Spacing, margins, deleted white spaces, deleted white lines, etc.
