Arabic characters are invalid in converted PDF

Hi,
I am trying to convert the Arabic text docx file into PDF using docx4j. The coverted PDF is having invalid characters(####) for arabic text.
When I verified .fo file, it has the proper arabic characters.

Please help me in resolving this issue.

If the fo is ok, docx4j has done its part.

There are 2 possibilities:

1. you might need to specify a different font (search this forum for Russian)

2. a Fop bug, see Fop mailing list for recent posts on Arabic Issues
