News of xlsx4j

I have successfully added grouping to my report by setting the outline levels on rows, but can't get it to open in MS Excel with the groups collapsed.

If I collapse the groups within MS Excel and save and close the spreadsheet and re-open it, the groups stay collapsed, but I haven't yet found what is allowing this. (I am setting the collapsed and hidden attributes on the row)

I'm currently trying to create a file with a macro included. I search around the web, and apparently it's impossible to add it using Open XML. They all suggested using a predefined template with the macro already included.

I'm trying to add comments to a spreadsheet but the 'comments' part does not appear to be in xslx4j.

That's not a problem, I successfully created a class which extends

but either I've not done everything I need to do in the subclass or there is something else I need to do, because I keep getting null pointer errors when I try to add it to the spreadsheet for saving.

I am using xslx4j to create a simple spreadsheet - but when I try to add style information then try to open the file with Excel 2007 it crashes the application!

Has anyone successfully set style information for cells?

If I just add a 'styles' part with an empty StyleSheet (as below) Excel complains but opens the file (after removing the Style part)

While filling cells I realized that I was creating and adding a new cell and row for each entry.

Hi everybody! I'm a docx4j library newbie and I need to parse an xlsx file. I'm looking for some example in order to do it. I've already read these examples http://dev.plutext.org/trac/docx4j/brow ... 4j/samples but I haven't found what I need.
I've got an xlsx file (of course!). This file has 4 columns and some rows. What I have to do is
1) load the file
2) print the data ...

As of now, docx4j can create, load and save OpenXML SpreadsheetML packages.

"Why would you use docx4j to do this", I hear you ask, "rather than POI, which focuses on xlsx and binary xls?"

Probably because you like JAXB (as opposed to XML Beans), or you are already using docx4j for docx or pptx, and need to be able to do some stuff with xlsx as well.
