Hi Jason,

I am trying to read a template docx file, replace the variables in a specific format (for instance )with the value from database.
The issue is, the variables are split across multiple runs.

Is there any way to resolve this issue ?

trying to create a docx from a jsp at runtime, the line

I am not getting the shapes(textbox) properly,other than that everything works fine.

Jars:docx4j-community 3.3.6 and dependencies

I have included the docx file and fo code,where in the fo code you can notice that there will be no corresponding code being generated for textbox.

I am trying to convert a DOCX file to PDF using FO-based PDF output. DOCX file and converted PDF file are attached. I am encountering problem in header/footer alignment. At the moment, what I found is the engine seems to have problem calculating the block-progression-dimension-allocated (bpda) of the block, which is giving number format exception as below:

Are there any best practices for generating a document by deleting sections from a template? (Sections purely in the sense below, not the Word sense)

My main use of docx4j is as a document generator.

Documents typically have:

Heading 1

Clause i

Clause ii

Sub-heading a

Heading 3...etc.

However sometimes Heading 2 (and all content) isn't relevant, so I'd like to delete it. ...

I've found a lot of forums posts about this in various forums, but none seemed to have been dealing with my problem :
Some of my documents have headers and/or footers while others don't.

As a result, merging the documents can get really messy with headers of one document 'overflowing" on the others.
