News of Plutext

Hi all,

I've got a document with different activeX elements. Is there a possiblity to read the value of these elements with docx4j? e.g. the text of an activeX textfield? Loading and manipulating of the documents works good, but i've got no idea how to read these elements.

I have converted an old .doc document to .docx format by Word 2010, and some OLE objects and perhaps other complex content were enclosed in tag "mc:AlternateContent".

Docx4j can parse the docx file, but the AlternateContent tags are ignored, so we are not even able to notice that such content is there. This is a problem for our conversion from docx to another format - we do not want to convert the content of ...

The WordprocessingML spec indicates that table captions should be found in the "tblCaption" child of "TblPr", but in docx4j 2.6.0 I'm not finding a tblCaption (or similar) member in that class. Are table captions supported in docx4j 2.6.0?

I have a very simple piece of code:
wordMLPackage = WordprocessingMLPackage.load(javaFile);
wordMLPackage.save(toFile);

After the save, the new file has no custom xml in in (checked with the Content Control Toolkit).

Can anyone tell if this is normal? I use version 2.6.0 of docx4j

I have a problem with white spaces in my white spaces.
I am constructing Paragraphs with different text elements using the Object Factory. However, it seems, that text elements kill the white spaces before and after my sentence. For example:

"My Name is " + "Pandaa" is using two different text elements, because "Pandaa" has to be in a different font and being of italic style, this sentence translates to:
"My Name isPandaa" in ...

Good night. I am developing an application and am using docx4j to convert my documents. In this case, the conversion is lasting about 4.5 minutes for each document, and of course, I'm not satisfied with that. I am using via XSLFO, and I wonder if other modes are faster. you have this knowledge?

I have a template docx with textbox form fields (FldChars of field-type: form-field FORMTEXT).
They store directives how to fill and process template in default text value of ffData elem.
In simple case it needs just to set form field value, in more complicated - delete table or table
raw or paragraph with correnponding form field.

I added to my grails application the docx dependency 2.5.0 (2.6.0 doens't work but it's an other issue).
when maven resolve dependencies, I have this version of commons-vfs-patched that manven want to download :
org.apache.commons#commons-vfs-patched;1.9.1

But when I look in the repostitory : http://dev.plutext.org/trac/docx4j/brow ... fs-patched
there are only two version 1.1 and 1.1a.

Even if i had one of these two version manually I have this ...
