Is there a straightforward way to figure out what kind of list (unordered or ordered) a list paragraph is part of?

Does word (docx) supports paragraph rules ? Paragraph line above and below rules which are supported in Indesign as shown below?

I want to rotate text within R (org.docx4j.wml.R). The property scene3D of Rpr is of type org.docx4j.w14.CTScene3D and all the tags of w14 are ignored in the xml, due to which text rotation is not getting applied.

I am adding some text, tables, images dynamically and generating a docx, how can find the total number of pages of that generated docx as i need to mention in the first page.

Im seeing an increasing number of issues where files on some versions of word/windows when processed through docx4j (code sample below), produce a corrupt file. I've attached the main document.xml that contains loads of extra namespaces which (i think) but I'm not 100% sure could be causing this.

To replicate this, all I need to do is do something like:


WordprocessingMLPackage wordMLPackage = WordprocessingMLPackage.load(doc)
HashMap<PartName, Part> parts = wordMLPackage.parts.parts

parts.each { PartName ...

I am trying to follow the GitHub example here: https://github.com/plutext/Docx4j4Android4 to import the Docx4J library into my Android app. However, when I run my Android app, I get the following error (There are many errors, but they all belong to duplicate classes relating to org.apache.commons.lang3.* and org.sl4j.spi.*):

I am having some trouble finding a way to insert rich text (html) in pptx. I found several threads that explain how to do it in a word file, but none about powerpoint.
I would appreciate your help.

I have a table that is set by MSWord to be 100% (see attached docx):

And for kicks and giggles, I also included a table set to 50%:

However, when I import this docx via Docx4J.toHTML, the resulting HTML gives fixed lengths for the table widths, which just doesn't make any sense.

The 100% table:

I am currently using docx4j version 3, for both XLSX and DOCX generation, compiling on Java 8.

Running on Java 8 works fine, but when I try generation of an XLSX file on Java 11 I get the following message "org.plutext.jaxb.xmldsig" does not contain ObjectFactory.class or jaxb.index.

After seeing a previous similar problem in the forum, I have checked and jaxb-xmldsig-core-1.1.1.jar is present in my classpath.

I created a simple word document using Word for Mac v16.16 and saved it as a docx file. When trying to perform a MailMerge with it, I'm getting a null pointer exception. It seems to be getting into the extractInstr method, and my instructions size seem to be greater then 1. In fact, when I save the docx to XML and unroll it, it seems to be creating these tags.
