I am new to docx4j and need some help. i'm running my application on weblogic server 12.1, jdk 1.6.0_43. I have all the dependent jars included but there seems to be some conflict between the jars in my application and the docx4j dependent jars. Below the stacktrace:

Hi,

i have a document that i want to send as a reminder to the customers. The document has a small table with positions and amount of older unpaid invoices followed by a first sum and if the customer already paid some money, there is a second list with position and amount of the paid money and the total sum.

For example
invoice 1 ... 100€
invoice 2 ... 150€
sum so far ... 250€ ...

Can i put a PDF Object inside a docx document through docx4j? OR i will have to convert it to image and insert inside it?

Please help...

Using docx4j 2.8.1 and latest nightly

When we try to convert a docx document to PDF that has a bigger than normal footer (we add a quite large image in the footer) then the footer get "cut off". It seems like that the PDF conversion never change the size of the footer(only render the default size). We do the conversion in the simplest possible way:

WordprocessingMLPackage wp2 = WordprocessingMLPackage.load(new File("c:/testing23.docx"));
PdfConversion c = ...

When I export some HTML without any "after spaces" specification (the custom control binding in the template has no spaces anymore too), I got automatically an after space of 10pts in the docx document.

Where is the html :

AndroidDocxHtml is NOT working on android 2.3.3 although it is working fine on above versions.

when trying on 2.3.3 it is throwing exceptions as
java.lang.ExceptionInInitializerError

at org.docx4j.openpackaging.contenttype.ContentTypeManager.parseContentTypesFile(ContentTypeManager.java:651)
at org.docx4j.openpackaging.io.LoadFromZipNG.process(LoadFromZipNG.java:206)
at org.docx4j.openpackaging.io.LoadFromZipNG.get(LoadFromZipNG.java:193)

i tried
WordprocessingMLPackage wordMLPackage = (WordprocessingMLPackage)loader.get(is);
also
WordprocessingMLPackage wordMLPackage = (WordprocessingMLPackage)OpcPackage.load(is,Filetype.ZippedPackage,null);

but getting same error with both ...
any suggestions ?

I want to try pdf conversion using Itext but I did not find the class org.docx4j.convert.out.pdf.viaIText.Conversion
entire package org.docx4j.convert.out.pdf.viaIText is not in the downloaded docx4j.zip,
where is org.docx4j.convert.out.pdf.viaIText.Conversion ?

I was wondering how I might do what XmlUtils.treeCopy. I have an issues where it's dropping all the namespaces that it copies.

In the comments on the treeCopy meathod it states that attribute aren't fully supported. Does this mean it's coming or its out of docx4j's control?

That disables automatic configuration of log4j by docx4j.

If automatic configuration is happening, you'd see:

"Since your log4j configuration (if any) was not found, docx4j has configured log4j automatically."

Docx4jProperties.getProperties().. will only work if you do it early enough (ie before Context class is loaded). A better approach is to put docx4j.properties on your classpath. Its contents may be found at https://github.com/plutext/docx4j/tree/ ... /resources
