I am trying to convert HTML text to rich text so that it can be displayed in word document. I am using XHTMLImporter of docx4j 2.8.1 to do this.

I'm currently reading a pptx file and wanted e.g. the position of all shapes on my slides. Problem is I need to traverse through all layers then because of Placeholders. That´s where I found your ResolvedLayout very useful, until the point I realized, that it only resolves Placeholders that have a type (!=OBJ) and not those, which only have an id (idx).
It would be very useful if it would also resolve Placeholders, ...

Hi everybody!

I'm quite new with docx4j and I'm having a few problems trying to extract the numbering parts text.
I can extract the bullets and simple lists like a), b), c)... but lists like 1, 1.1, 1.1.1, 1.2, 1.2.1, ... returns null.
Am I doing something wrong?

Hi! I have a few pptx files that should be merged, but I am unable to do it in Java. Online merger fails to merge the files too. The problem is that these pptx files have custom themes to add watermarks etc. I am using Plutext Enterprise 3.2.0 trial version.

I am using Docx4j for my document management system. I have word template having some bookmark available on it. I am able to replace bookmark value
with Noraml Text but i need to replace BookMark value with HTML Text and Images.

I am able to place html content and images directly on word template but not able to replace it as bookmark value. I need to use it because want to read it again ...

Here is my code that works for manipulating other portions of document.xml for a docx file, but I am having trouble changing a setting that is part of the settings.xml part. I am basically performing a string replacement that if successful will turn on track changes for the docx.

I'm new to Docx4J, and I have a simple requirement of adding an INCLUDEPICTURE field with the \d switch into a document, so that the image can be loaded dynamically when the user opens the document, and so that Word does not cache or store this externally linked image.

The fieldcode looks like this:

{ INCLUDEPICTURE "http://example.com/picture.jpg" \d \* MERGEFORMAT }
