I retrieve a Cell at some given row and given column , I want to find the style or format this cell , please advice how to?

Hi all iam trying to convert html to docx using Docx4j. I want to set the docx page orientation depending on the html page orientation, i.e if html is in landscape mode i want the converted docx to be landscape mode. Can any one help me how i can achieve this.
Iam able to set the converted docx orientation to landscape by using the below code:

PageDimensions page = new PageDimensions();
page.setPgSize(PageSizePaper.valueOf(ActorsConstants.PAGE_SIZE), true);

I'm completly new to docx4j and just try to learn the concepts...

I downloaded the complete source from github und found the files invoice2013.docx and invoice2013.xml in the samples folder. Unfortunatly there is no java source that uses this files. Can please somebody give me a working java file that works with these 2 files?

I am using docx4j to read and modify ppt template from a web application. There are multiple request at a time. So concurrent read and modify PPT file operations are performed. But after some request server throws out of memory error. So that many request are failed.
I have assigned 5GB memory to JVM.

We load the template using

Code: Select all

PresentationMLPackage ppt = (PresentationMLPackage) OpcPackage.load(new File(inputfilepath));

and save it finally using
File f1 = new File(outputfilepath); ...

I'm integrating docx4j in some of our products and are very happy with the features and services of docx4j.

Since we are scanning all outgoing packages for license violations, we also found the files, which was fixed with commit https://github.com/plutext/docx4j/commit/fc396524e8e2f9443712eebb66c6d48495d3d768

As the comment stated, it was not intended to release this files under the GPL3 license, but we would like to be sure.
So do you have any idea, when docx4j-3.2.2 will be ...

I use XHTMLImporter to insert html code into a Winword document.

There is no kind of font definition in the html code.

This gets imported as "Times New Roman".

Any way to change the default font to "Arial" for all imported text ?

I'm using docx4j (in an open source project, https://github.com/isisaddons/isis-module-docx) to convert a Word .docx template file into a .docx. Using the docx4j API I have fashioned support for repeating data (tables and lists), and it works quite well.

However, the resultant .docx still has the original smart tags within it, albeit that their content is replaced with the text that I insert using the docx4j APIs.
