I have an Object o, which I'm trying to cast to org.docx4j.wml.Text. get it's parent and then cast to javax.xml.bind.JAXBElement. The parent returns a org.docx4j.wml.R and then the casting gives a java.lang.ClassCastException, is this an expected behaviour? how can I do the casting correctly

The condition I'm trying to check is

I creates a word document using docx4j which have altchunks, it is opened on Word 2010 and 2013 but not on Word 2007 version.
I think Word 2007 has a problem with altchunks.
How can I resolve this issue? Please help me ASAP.

That issue is resolved but i am now facing difficulties converting the document to pdf. It was previously working when i was using the default reference Jaxb. Any help is appreciated.

I'm trying to load a docx-File (a simpe test one) as a stream from the resources of my java project.

I want to add a CustomXmlDataStoragePart to the .docx to store the value of about 100 hash codes that I later need to retrieve.

I looked into this example: https://github.com/plutext/docx4j/blob/master/src/samples/docx4j/org/docx4j/samples/ContentControlsAddCustomXmlDataStoragePart.java

Unzipping the document looks fine, even if I put my own PartName argument in line 77.

However, after altering the content of the document and saving it, the PartName of the added CustomXmlDataStoragePart switches back to: customXml/item1.xml and customXml/itemProps1.xml.

Can this behavior be changed?

Does anyone have an idea how can we use DOCX4J APIs to protect the Header Part in a docx file?
Protecting the whole document is easy, but I am specifically looking to protect just the header part.
Body should be editable to the user.

I am using the below code, but it does not set set the header as read only.
