I have many docx file that I have merge into an unique docx (I use doc4j open).
The problem is with embed images in the docs.
These are all called image1.png (in /word/media/) and when I merge docx, at the end I have only the image of the first document that replace all other images.

I have a problem with repeating sections in Word 2013. In the samples, I see that a document should have content controls for "repeatsection" and "repeatsectionitem". But when I insert a repeat via the addin, I see only a "repeat" content control. When processing the document using the ContentControlBindingExtensions example, only the first item is inserted into the document, so no repeats can be found. I noticed that since 3.20, there is support in FO for PTab align right, but not for center and left. Would it be possible to support the latter two as well?

My specific use case is putting text into headers and footers. Using the default header and footer styles results in a correctly formatted footer in the docx file, but the FO export messes up what should be the right-aligned text (see attached PDF). ...

it is the first time that I use doc4j to generate an Excel file from another Excel file (pseudo template file) in changing some values in some fields.

I have found an example in https://github.com/plutext/docx4j/commit/9dc7f5c4e303cfea4ec5b11e5700584d388034c5 and I have made some minor changes.

The program run correctly without crashing but the generated Excel file doesn't contains new values.

In the input template Excel file, some cells contains the following strings

Hi. Is there a way in docx4j to convert fields to static text? This is the functionality that is provided for in Word when you press Ctrl+Shift+F9 with fields selected.

Here is what I'm trying to do with Docx4J 3.3.3
I would like to set values for 4 custom document properties in a DOCX file loading from byte in a database
Then force update the fields
Then export the docx file as a PDF.

Here is the code I'm using for the first 2 steps:

I was accomplishing this in POI, but the ability to read Font type and size was not effective, and the research I did said docx4j was better at that.
My issues so far:
1. I can't get the text from a line(paragraph) consistently; the text is broken into multiple org.docx4j.wml.P/R/Text objects even though the 'line' is unbroken in the text
2. I am not getting the Font type and Size consistently; it is often null ...

Where can I find a glossary of the abbreviations that the Docx4j API uses, e.g. in class names like SdtPr?

I’m guessing that these are all part of a Microsoft API or Office Open XML or some other specification. I’m trying to get started with docx4j but I’m finding it hard to read the sample code because I don’t know what any of the names mean.
