attached is a simple docx file that was created by Word 2010 and it cannot be parsed by docx4j 2.5.0: it throws this exception:

Hi Jason,
I have created the Table of Content for the existing document. My prob is the TOC adding in the end of the document.

Is there possibility to add TOC in the 2nd page? could someone tell me the suggestion what is the way to add it on the 2nd page?

I have attached the coding and documents both inputfile and outputfile.

I'm trying out docx4j, my main usage is to replace content from a file/database.

I've tried the simple unmarshal example using ${paramater} and it works great with your sample files in svn, but when creating documents using Word 2010 (on OSX) all replacements ends up with the text "null" instead of the right values...

I've also looked into using data controls and looking at your samples in CustomXmlBinding... it seems that you have to ...

Are there API's/frameworks to read .DOT files using JAVA.

I have a requirement like this, is this achievable using JAVA.
Can we read a .DOT (a word template file) and convert it to a .DOC (ms word document file) programmatically by filling some values at given places.

Pay attention to "0,18mm" which is the Norwegian way of using decimals. In english ...

I have a problem with the headers in my document.
If someone creates a document and adds a headers ( of first page its empty ).
The pages are spread into sections.
On the second page the person adds a header and clicks the "Different first page" inside the Word.
On the next page he doesn't click it, and so on...

The template i created is in the attachment.

So the problem occurs ...

we docx4j to replace find certain keyword in word document and replace it with other values.
however we find that when the values we replace contain new line or carriage return character
(ascii 10 and ascii 13). when we set with new value, it will automatically replace with white space (ascii 32).

e.g

newValue = 10/10/2010
11/10/2010

but in the word document after replace it will become "10/10/2010 11/10/2010"

For docx4j users who wants to analyze and edit the XML parts of a docx/pptx/xlsx, the attached swing
program DocWin.java will be helpful. (I got sick of the tedium of manually unzipping, opening different

We are bulding a form with a rich text control. The control is not bind to a customXml file as we want styling, bullet and so in the text. The content of the control will be transformed to html and stored in SQL database. The content will finaly display in a web page where it could also be download as a docx.
