I'm using .docx files with content controls with the OpenDoPE Add-In to generate Word templates that get filled from our applications. The conversion process then looks at the "template", injects a different custom XML for the data binding and regenerates the docx. This Word document is then automatically placed in an ECM system, that generates a preview version of the Word document.

I've been converting DOCX files to XML-FO using the available code, however none of the images in the original document get converted. There appears to be code to support images, and I've tried with GIF, JPG and PNG.

During conversion I see the following exceptions in the log:

Does anyone has a good SmartArt example? It is quite difficult to get through those sample applications without having xml files and sample data (not in glox file) provided.

i started using docxj4 for some project and worked out very well.
Now i got some problem with finding certain placeholder in a document and replacing them.
This might be rather related to JAXB and Xpath but maybe someone can help.

I got some placeholder looking like this {PLACEHOLDER1}, {PLACEHOLDER2}, ... in a predefined document.

I'm still working on PPTX document copy, and I have troubles with charts.
It works fine when I copy a Chart part, but when I try to add an embedded XLSX object, I see following line in the log:

I'm using docx4j and have a requirement to add page numbers to my headers (page x or y for example).

I haven't been able to find any examples and can't seem to get this to work with CTPageNumber.

Has anyone had experience with this?
