Hi. I made a docx-to-xhtml/html little import utility for the system I'm currently working on. Conversion is pretty good and time is fine (A bit slow on the first run, but nothing an end user would actually care, IMO). In other words, is working good, fullfills our requirement and the integration with the rest of the system is working fine... In my machine.

I am loading the excel and trying to append more sheets and generate the output. We have used the concept of sharedstrings and CTStylesheet.
Issue that I am facing is. If I updated excel which has one sheet and the sheet contains tables and styles like background, borders.

I have a requirement, in which we will load the existing excel which may contain images, text frames, any shapes or table.
I want to retain this information and if I am inserting new picture and at the same position there is an image present i want this new image to be present on top of it, instead of clearing it and doing again .

I have a use case wherein, I need to convert many docx files to pdf files by replacing some variables in the docx template. I have used 2 approaches to convert docx to pdf. I have attached to methods that I have used:

Docx4J.toPDF(wordMLPackage, new FileOutputStream(file));
Docx4J.toFO(foSettings, os, Docx4J.FLAG_EXPORT_PREFER_XSL);

Both these approaches become a bottleneck in my process as they consume very high CPU and memory. Can anyone suggest to me a better solution ...

I'm trying to use docx4j-ImportXHTML v8.2.0 to generate PPTx snippets from XHTML Strings. I'm seeing the following error when I add the jars to my project's pom.xml:

Missing artifact org.docx4j:docx4j-samples-resources:jar:8.2.8 pom.xml /altify-ppt-temp line 2 Maven Dependency Problem

Any help on how to fix this error would be appreciated.

Hi, thanks for useful tools.

I would like to add keyboard shortcuts to a generated docx file, which can be done by adding a part at /word/customizations.xml with a type of application/vnd.ms-word.keyMapCustomizations+xml and with elements under the http://schemas.microsoft.com/office/word/2006/wordml namespace. (I've done this successfully before in C# with this library https://github.com/OfficeDev/Open-XML-SDK)

Is this possible out of the box with docx4j? If not, is it ...

i have docx file with content in it and a json file with few sentences taken from the same docx file. I need to change the font style of only those sentences (from the JSON file)
in the docx file.
