Hi Jason,

I'm trying to install this tool but when running the .exe file I get a message saying that the file is not compatible with the Windows version I'm running. My OS is 64-bit Windows 7 Enterprise. When I view the file as a HTML page, I can't submit the request form (JS is activated, IE10).

How can I access the download link?

This morning I got a message on Word Startup "Your Demo Version has expired" (or something similar). I didn't pay to much attention at first, since the message didn't show up anymore. That is until I noticed that the docx4j Add-On is not available anymore.

Does anybody have an idea if this is connected somehow?

I installed the Docx4jHelper this morning (Win7 with Word 2010) and have been working with it all day long. It works just great and has realy boosted my productivity. Thanks for this great tool! :D

I'm getting an error when I run the install program.

It says :
The version of this file is not compatible with the version of Windows you're running. Check your computer's system information to see whether you need an x86 (32bit) or x64 (64bit) version of the program, and then contact the software publisher.

My computer is a windows 7 64-bit machine.
Is there a different version of the install file?

Testing the install on a Win 7 x64 system running Word 2013, the install failed to install pre-req vstor40_x64.exe

Looking at the install log, it said

Code: Select all

Installing using command 'C:\Users\user865e6\AppData\Local\Temp\VSDAC69.tmp\VSTOR40\vstor40_x64.exe' and parameters ' /q:a /c:"install /q /l"'
Unable to run create process.  GetLastError returned: 1223
Status of package 'Microsoft Visual Studio 2010 Tools for Office Runtime (x86 and x64)' after install is 'InstallFailed'
