News of docx4j

Hi,

I am using XWPFDocument to create a word document.I am able to write my data to it.But still not getting success in writing the hyperlink to the document.Can anybody please help me out?

I looked through the forums and after reading a few posts about installation problems, I think I added all the necessary files to run docx4j but still get a lot of errors and program crashes. I am currently using Eclipse as my IDE.

I downloaded all the necessary .jar files for the project (I even tried to import every .jar file in the docx4j-2.8.1 package) and added them to my project via Java Build Path ...

i have a list with a place holder value and i am replacing that value with my dynamic value , but the new contents are not adding to placeholder , rather on last page.

I am creating a default footer for every section where it's not present. Here's the code:

I am using CR+LF characters in my custom XML part, which is mapped to content controls. I can use the Word 2007 Content Control Toolkit to edit and confirm that I have working XML with CR+LF characters. I can open the document in Word and confirm that the new lines are shown in the document.

For some reason though, when I use docx4j to do the substitution on the same XML, and save the file ...

I created a document docx. I generated it in my server, with library docx4j. But sometimes i could open without any errors, but other times I could see an message advertising that this file has errors.
It is very strange, because it is aleatory, and I create the same files, but sometimes it's ok, and others is wrong.
Why doesn't it work?

Hi! I wanto create the following nested list:

1. Apple

&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;2. Pear

But when I do it with the bottom code the numbers 1 and 2 in the nested list infront of Orange and Pear disappear. Any clues?

Hi I'm using the MergeDocx extension to merge a collection of Word files into one. This all works great and the final file looks fine except that I am experiencing memory issues when merging large collections of documents (100 or so), so I decided to take a look at the underlying 'bundle' for the merged file in smaller successful merges.

Hi,
i have Mail Merge Fields in my Microsoft Word document and i am trying to generate PDF document.

Problem is that in generated PDF are Mail Merge fields displayed in a wrong way. In Word, you can switch between views by ALT+F9.

So for example i have mail merge field
1.view : <<ContractNo>>
2.view : {MERGEFIELD ContractNo \* MERGEFORMAT}

If i try only to open Dotx and save it to PDF without any changes, ...

I got some problem that I don't really understand.

I created a template in Word 2010 with few placeholders and I want to fill in them with some strings. Some of those string include linebreaks.

Everytime I just print this string in console (via System.out.print), it's looks like:
