I have a problem with New version of docx4j that never happend to me before. I used some merge fields to edit a word file. Works great. File is opened correctly and all fields have the correct text.
But now, when I click on file - > print to print the document all fields are deleted and only appear the tag of the merge field.
It's very strange because if I export to pdf ...

My program works fine in eclipse: it generates the document with the desired font, and visible table borders (which are for some reason hidden by default).

However once exporting to .jar I've had consecutive problems, which I resolved until this one.

First, the resulting .jar didn't have a styles.xml, so it generated the document with the default font, etc. Fix was to manually add the styles.xml into the jar.

I have a program that generates invoices using docx4j. It's working really well. I have 2 tables and about 10 merge fields inside text boxes. 80% of the time is working right, but sometimes docx4j is deleting 2 text boxes and a blue line graphic object that has nothing to do with the fields.

There are many dependencies and all of them are brought over to my projects because they all are compile time dependencies.
I wonder if it has to be so. For example I do not need PDF and this FOP and all it brings with it (avalon, probably Xalan , etc). IS it can FOP and maybe some other dependencies be marked as optional in your project. or maybe project popularized a bit with a ...

Im trying to edit a table so i get some cells with words in bold. Im creating the rows and the cells and adding them to the table, not editing existing cells.
I looked for this in doc but i couldnt find it.

I succesfuly replace text using the mail merge fields method, its easy and works great.

Now, i'm trying to do the same but with the field inside the header, because i want to replace text in the header of all pages generated in docs of variable length.

I tried to do with only one page and failed. Text is not replaced when merge field is inside header.

Is there a way to do this? ...
