We had taken docx4j-2.2.2 and we are working over that. Now we decided to migrate to the latest to get few things like table styles and formatting which was not there (or not working properly) in docx4j-2.2.2

Hi, im trying convert docx to pdf, but, when im calling WordprocessingMLPackage.load(File); it will crush and write:

java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: org/apache/log4j/Logger
at org.docx4j.openpackaging.Base<clinit>(Base.java:38)

so, i know, that apache logger isnt in my docx4j jar file, but, is it real problem? or have i not correct version of docx4j? answer pls. Thakns

I am using the docx4j-2-2-2 distribution and I encountered a problem trying to open, manipolate and saving again a docx file.
I have figured out the problem: this word file has an header with an image but somehow is not reconigned as the same image in all the pages. This means that in the docx I have different pointers to apparently different file images but at the end they converge to the same ...

I've been trying to build docx4j from source, from the 2.2.2 release tag.

I managed to snag all the dependencies via Maven, and once I altered the "m2Repository" property in the build.xml to actually point at my maven repository, the ant dist seemed to start to work, except it hit these JAXB related no package found errors:

Hi ,

I am converting a docx containing image ( wmf ,emf ) into html .
But i could not find any image in html. It seems docx4j does not
support wmf and emf image files.

Please suggest some third parties to handle these images .

I'm wondering whether anyone have tried using docx4j combined with stuff from flexDoc (http://flexdoc.codeplex.com/)? Will any of the methods in the XMLUtils class handle the transformation done with the xslt defined in flexDoc?

First, thank you for the docx4j library.

I'm using the library to generate Word documents based on data retrieved from an application's database, and the library is streamlining the process quite a bit.

One nuisance I've encountered is in creating tables. It seems a couple of the table-related nodes don't have the @XmlRootElement annotation and so generate an error when trying to save the document (and implicitly marshal the XML).
