I tried to test docx to conversion on android using the following example/project:

But everytime I try to run the project it keeps launching it and eventually the whole eclipse freezes. I created a new project (AndroidDocxToHtml2) and just copy pasted all clasess and libraries etc and even commented out all code in try-catch block in AndroidDocxToHtmlActivity. It was still keep launching the whole time but at least ...

I have followed the GIT instructions to download 2.8.0 and I am getting Docx4jProperties.java:6: package org.apache.log4j does not exist. I have checked my maven folders and the apache log4j appears to be there, I dont understand why its not being added to the build path.

I have created a kind of template document in which i want to store all my styles (such as heading 1/2/3/4, normal and so on)
I load the styles of this document in a new document

I want to color the background of table cells depends of text inside the cell. The content of cells come from data binding via customXML. Data binding works very well.

Hi all,

I'm trying to convert a part of a word document to HTML.
For example, I have a word document with a table, and I would like extract and convert in HTML just the first cell, not the full document.

Is this possible with docx4j ?

If not, which is the best approach to do that ?

I searched and didn't find any reference to this. Is this within the realm of possiblity? I am guessing converting images to be inline base64 encoded would be the biggest issue. I am basically looking to convert Word docs to mime, including all images, and then email the result out. If this doesn't exist I would be willing to try and put it together with a little help.
