When you access Word 2007 via VNC (TightVNC and UltraVNC flavours at least), your Office button might not be displayed.
See http://forum.ultravnc.info/viewtopic.php?p=35695 and http://forum.ultravnc.info/viewtopic.php?p=57059
It turns out the same thing happens in Microsoft's SMS product (at least prior to SP3) - see http://support.microsoft.com/kb/941462
Apparently, this is because the Microsoft Office Button that is part of the 2007 Office Fluent user interface is a "layered window"
In the case of UltraVNC, you can fix the problem with a different driver - see http://www.404techsupport.com/2008/04/1 ... ce-button/
This can also be a problem in CodeWeavers Crossover Office: https://www.codeweavers.com/support/tic ... _id=717462 (Wine?)
I've found that when I open a docx in Eclipse, the button (and the x to close) is missing there as well. I couldn't find any prior posts on this issue; I also searched for SWT.
In some of the other programs, people say you can click in the right spot, and things work. But not in Eclipse - you need to use shortcuts like Ctrl P to print.
