Maven build suggestions

The maven build file pom.xml in trunk still claims to build 2.6.0, and still depends on the non-existant library org.apache.commons:commons-vfs-patched:1.9.1.

Further, I'd like to suggest to distribute ready-made javadoc- and/or source-jars, which would make out-of-the-box delivery a bit easier (and, if distributed, need more space paid to Jason's hoster).
