External Signature on .docx

Hello,
Would like to know if the doc4j enterprise edition allows to perform a digital signature externally, that is, in the case of a server-client architecture for example where i dont have direct access to the private key. I need to send the hash to a server and it returns me the signed/encrypted hash.
