and also just as a suggestion.

you can use a mail server so that when a user gets an answer he also gets an email prompt.
I use several forums and may be many other from the forum do that too. so it is just easier to see where you got an answer.

Please, do not think that I am too wanting or something, I just think it is better for the users.

Try: User Control Panel > Board preferences > Edit posting defaults > "Notify me upon replies by default"

I'm not sure whether this was there before, but it is there for me now.
