Hi Guys,

Does docx4j support altChunk for inserting a docx file into another docx file? if yes can anyone post an example? if not yet, are we going to support this feature in near future?

Thanks for the reply. is it possible to use content control(or something else) in a word template to mark where and what to be inserted, and process the template at run time? just like processing conditional and repeat content controls. I believe this will be a very very useful feature.

Sure, unless i'm misunderstanding you, that's exactly what content control data binding does. The repeat/conditional stuff is just an embellishment/extension to the existing Word/docx4j functionality. Plenty of articles on this in Google.
